I've never done the thing from my Friends List about the whole asking my iTunes to tell me how my month will go, but really given how my iTunes Shuffle Mode hasn't been exactly been too forgiving of picking my music, I figured why not give it a shot this month.
I ended up with "Black Celebration" by Depeche Mode from their live album Depeche Mode 101. I was about five when this whole thing came out, and I know it doesn't seem to be something I would like, but I bought Dave Gahan's CD Hourglass and I really liked all of that, and then ended up just going a bit crazy with all their stuff.
I really like -- (sidenote? Shuffle picked Black by Pete Yorn now... see what I mean about my Shuffle theming on me?) -- the live albums for some reason. Even on the other bands, I think because I can imagine the energy of everything when they recorded it. All the people, all the ones that sing along because they know the words, and all the ones that clap in time when it's requested?
As for the song itself I'm not sure if it's a good one for me or not. It sort of reminds me of Adam to be honest. I don't know what that means about this month though. We've been talking again, he's in Cardiff with Adam and I'm mostly just bored. Which Daddy always says that I just need to find something to do with my time, that people don't get boring that they are just being boring. So I just need to find something to fill my time, other than you know let my iTunes frustrate me when I put it on shuffle.
