Adam -

This is the first time since I've met you that we've actually been able to celebrate your birthday in an actual way. I suppose it's just the way things are with us now, that it's days and nights filled with things that I never thought would be part of my life. I know there are still a lot of things left in storage in Montreal that are slowly coming to find their way back to London with us, but I thought I wanted to give you something that was more symbolic of the new beginning we're both in the middle of.

Also I'm not sure if you realize this, but you're not exactly an easy person to shop for.
